I am a first-year PhD student. I am very fortunate to be advised by Aymeric Dieuleveut at École polytechnique and Micheal Jordan at Sierra, Inria Paris.
Currently, I work on trustworthy machine learning, mostly uncertainity quantification, as in calibration and conformal prediction, and sometimes privacy, as in differntial privacy. I also like to explore topics related to the interaction of both information theory and game theory with learning problems.
Before starting my PhD, I was in the MVA program. Even before that, I graduated with first-class honours from the ELITE stream of the Mathematics and Information Engineering program at CUHK. I had one summer internship with Prof. Cheuck Ting Li, and another one at MLO, EPFL.
