I am an M2 PhD-track student at IP-Paris, working with Aymeric Dieuleveut. PhD-track is an integrated program of a 2 years master’s followed by a PhD. I am currently in the second year of my master’s and planning to continue with my PhD next year.

I am mainly interested in federated/decentralized optimization and the constraints that arise from these settings such as privacy, robustness, and communication efficiency. I am also very interested in exploring topics related to the interaction of both information theory and game theory with learning problems.

Before coming to France, I graduated with first-class honours from the ELITE stream of the Mathematics and Information Engineering program at CUHK. I had one summer internship with Prof. Cheuck Ting Li, and another one at MLO, EPFL.
